Why

It is hard enough to write a book. And harder still to get it published. And then recognised and make a few pennies.

I am interested here in modern writing, ie of this century, writing that is topical, but more than writing, a good book needs plot and structure, and even typography these days.

The works that shine deserve an extra helping hand that this little blog can give or might introduce you, as a reader, to an experience that you may enjoy.

Of course you don’t have to agree with my judgements, but then you can start your own list…this is mine.
